Ginko

More Mushishi art! I'm near the middle of the 1st season now and I can now say that this series is definitely one of my favourites, probably up there with Psycho-Pass. It's a bit hard to describe. Each episode is a discrete story, connected only by the appearance of mushi (primordial, supernatural creatures that can cause trouble for humans) and the main character, Ginko, who is a travelling mushi-shi (kind of a specialist in these creatures). The music is incredible, and some of the stories are really moving. The whole series gives off a slightly eerie but peaceful feeling. I highly recommend it! I guess I'm quite late to it though, since it aired back in 2005, but I think the second season came out only a few years ago.

I tried to work with more greens and yellows this time around but I haven't quite gotten the hang of it. Same goes with faces. I think I'm at that stage where I'm not really happy with any of my art because my eyes can see that something is off, but either I can't pinpoint exactly what's wrong or I don't have the experience/skill to make it look like how I want it to look. Eh, oh well.
